The calculator’s trades for a 4-room BTO flat come to S$11,200–S$26,600. The difference is what it does not count: design fees, the rest of the carpentry, light fittings, appliances, haulage, cleaning and GST.
From an estimate to a quote
A range per trade is a budget, not a quote. For quantities measured off your own plan, room by room, with the doors and windows where they really are, draw it in the designer: its quote prices paint, flooring and mouldings at your rates, and exports as a PDF you can hand to contractors so they all quote the same thing.

Qanvast's projected 2026 budget is S$50,000 to S$60,000 for a whole renovation. The main trades on their own (painting, vinyl flooring and skirting, kitchen and worktop, wardrobes, electrical points) typically come to S$11,200 to S$26,600 before GST.
How much is vinyl flooring per square foot in Singapore?
Typically S$3 to S$10 per square foot installed, laid over the existing tiles, so there is no hacking. Porcelain tiles run S$10 to S$22 per square foot, plus S$3 to S$8 to hack the old ones.
How much do kitchen cabinets cost per foot run?
Top and bottom cabinets together typically cost S$180 to S$450 per foot run, with a quartz worktop S$70 to S$120 per foot on top.
How much does it cost to paint a whole HDB flat?
About S$1,200 to S$2,200 for a 3-room flat, S$1,250 to S$2,600 for a 4-room and S$1,800 to S$2,800 for a 5-room, walls and ceilings. The paint calculator works out the litres.
